This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and safeguard your information when you use our trading automation platform and related services (the "Service"), including the Broadcast, Echo, VPS, Marketplace, and Signal features. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy.
Before the legal details, here is how data flows through our system so you can understand what we see and what we don't. ClearEdge Automation has three layers:

Trade execution requests travel directly from the app on your device to your broker.
[!IMPORTANT] Your broker username and password are stored encrypted on your own machine (PC or VPS). They are never transmitted to, stored on, or accessible by ClearEdge servers. We cannot see, read, or recover your broker login credentials.
1a. Information You Provide to Our Cloud Service
When you register, configure, or interact with ClearEdge through our website or backend, we receive and store:
Account information — name, email address, and authentication credentials for your ClearEdge account.
Payment information — billing details processed securely by our PCI-DSS-compliant third-party payment provider (Stripe). We do not store full credit card numbers on our servers.
Signal & strategy configuration — webhook URLs, TradingView alert settings, and trading parameters you set up to configure the Service.
Broadcast settings — if you are a Broadcaster: session names, channel configurations, and follower-management preferences. If you are a Follower: opt-in preferences and which Broadcaster(s) you follow.
Marketplace activity — products you browse, purchase, or subscribe to through our Marketplace, including supplier resource access and coupon usage.
Affiliate & promo data — referral codes and affiliate program participation details.
Support communications — messages, files, or information you share when contacting our support team.
Profile enrichments — optional fields such as your TradingView username, Discord account link, or display name.
Event registrations — webinar or event sign-ups and attendance records.
1b. Information That Stays on Your Device
The following data is created and stored only on your local machine (personal computer or ClearEdge VPS instance). It is not transmitted to our cloud servers:
Broker credentials — usernames and passwords for your brokerage accounts, stored in encrypted form using industry-standard encryption.
Echo (Mirror) account configurations — the account connection settings and preferences you configure for replicating trades across your own accounts.
API keys and authentication tokens — any credentials required to connect to your broker or trading platform. [!NOTE] If you use a ClearEdge VPS instance, the data above resides on your dedicated virtual server. While ClearEdge provisions and manages the VPS infrastructure, your broker credentials remain encrypted on that instance and are not accessible to ClearEdge staff.
1c. Information We Collect Automatically
When you use the Service, we automatically collect:
Usage analytics — anonymized data about feature engagement (e.g., which features you use, session frequency) to help us improve the platform.
Device and connection data — operating system, browser type, device type, and IP address.
Service logs — technical logs required to operate, troubleshoot, and secure the Service (e.g., Audit log entries, error reports).
1d. Information from Third Parties
Broker and platform data — when you link a supported broker or platform (e.g., TradingView), we may receive configuration or status data necessary for signal routing.
Payment provider — Stripe provides us with subscription status, invoice data, and payment outcome information (but not your full card number).
Discord — if you link your Discord account, we receive your Discord user ID and avatar for display purposes.
To be completely transparent, here is what ClearEdge cannot see or access:
❌ Your broker account username or password
❌ Your broker account balance, positions, or trade history (unless you explicitly configure a feature that shares this data)
❌ Your full credit card number (handled entirely by Stripe)
❌ The contents of trades executed locally on your device — we route signals, but the actual order execution happens between your app and your broker
Everything we collect is used to make the Service work for you. Specifically, we use your information to:
- Operate the Service — process signals, route Broadcast messages to Followers, manage Echo configurations, provision VPS instances, and deliver Marketplace products.
- Manage your account — authenticate your identity, manage subscriptions, process payments, and maintain billing records.
- Provide support — respond to your inquiries, troubleshoot issues, and communicate important service updates.
- Improve the platform — analyze anonymized usage trends to improve performance, usability, and reliability.
- Communicate with you — send transactional emails (receipts, subscription changes), product updates, and, where you have opted in, promotional communications via our messaging platform (Intercom).
- Comply with law — meet legal obligations, enforce our terms, or protect the rights and safety of our users and our company.
We do not use your data to build trading strategies, sell insights, or profile you for advertising purposes.
We take data security seriously and employ multiple layers of protection:
- Encryption in transit — all data transmitted between your browser/app and our services is encrypted using SSL/TLS. Broadcast signals are transmitted over encrypted channels.
- Encryption at rest — sensitive data stored on our servers (such as VPS RDP passwords) is encrypted using industry-standard symmetric encryption.
- Access controls — access to user data is restricted to authorized personnel on a need-to-know basis.
- PCI-DSS compliance — payment processing is handled entirely by Stripe, a PCI-DSS Level 1 certified provider.
- VPS isolation — each ClearEdge VPS instance is a dedicated virtual machine, isolated from other users.
While we implement strong security measures, no system is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of data transmission or storage, but we continuously work to protect your information.
You have control over your data:
- Review or update your account details via your Profile settings or by contacting support.
- Disconnect integrations — unlink your Discord account, disable Broadcast Follower/Broadcaster status, or disconnect Echo Mirrored Accounts at any time through your account settings.
- Manage subscriptions — upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your subscription at any time via your account settings.
- Request data deletion — email support@clearedge.trading to request deletion of your account and associated data, subject to any legal retention requirements.
- Opt out of communications — unsubscribe from non-essential emails using the unsubscribe link in any message, or adjust your preferences in Intercom.
- Control local data — since broker credentials and Echo configurations are stored on your device, you can delete them at any time by removing them from the application.

ClearEdge is operated by FjordPath, Inc., based in the United States. If you access the Service from outside the United States, your data may be transferred to and processed on U.S.-based servers.
